Recorded by Stu Black at Sound Studios, Chicago, September 22 & 23, 1965; Mastered from the original analog master tapes by Kevin Gray

One of the all-time great urban blues records and the best-seller in the famed Delmark catalog. Hoodoo Man Blues is so full of bravado and snap it'll make you feel tough just listening to it. Not all of the Delmark titles were recorded very well, but this one certainly was. Hoodoo Man Blues, which features Buddy Guy on guitar, is not only Junior Wells' first LP appearance, it's damn near the first LP by a Chicago blues band. Chess and a few other labels had reissued 45s by Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Elmore James, etc., but virtually no one had tried to capture the Chicago blues sound free of the limitations of juke box/airplay promotion. Hoodoo Man Blues went a long way in the popularization of real Chicago blues and of Junior Wells.

Julio Iglesias - In Concert (1983/2015) High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 24bit/192kHz

Artist: Julio Iglesias
Title: In Concert
Genre: Pop, Latin Pop, Vocal Pop
Label: © Columbia Records, a Division of Sony Music Entertainment
Release Date: 1983/2015
Quality: High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 192kHz/24bit

Recorded live at N.H.K. Theatre, Tokyo; Opera Hall, Melbourne; Royal Albert Hall, London; Palais Des Congrès, Paris. Mixed at Criteria Recording Studios

Released around the time of Julio Iglesias's massively successful 1984 record, 1100 BEL AIR PLACE, this two-disc live album finds the Spanish vocalist performing for huge audiences around the globe. On this 26-track release, the beloved crooner settles into standards that are given an era-specific synthesizer gloss (see both his plaintive take on "Begin the Beguine" and his emotive Cole Porter medley), while also nodding to Latin America with numbers that incorporate iconic tunes such as "Guantanamera." While some may prefer Iglesias's studio recordings, IN CONCERT is a revealing portrait of the singer as a crowd-pleasing showman.

Julio Iglesias - A Flor De Piel (1974) High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 24bit/44,1kHz

Label: © Columbia Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment
Release Date: 1974
Quality: High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 44,1kHz/24bit

Recorded: 1974

This is one of the most important records of his career because it paved the way for establishing Iglesias as the major Latin singer of the time. It contains one his biggest hits ever, "Por el Amor de una Mujer." Other songs, like "Manuela" and "Vivir," became must-haves for future shows and compilations. "Te Quiero Así" is a Spanish version of Don MacLean's "If I Love You So." Some songs were previously included on Spanish releases. The result is an enjoyable and romantic album that features some of his best interpretations. --AllMusic Review by Iván Adaime

Artist: Jeff Beck

Genre: Jazz, Rock, Fusion, Jazz Funk, Guitar Virtuoso
Label: © Epic Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment

DSD file created by Gus Skinas from the original Sony Super Audio CD cutting masters.

When Jeff Beck announced that he was working on an all-instrumental album, few but his legion of guitar fans could have predicted the far-reaching impact of this pivotal jazz-rock fusion album. Teamed with the Beatles' ex-producer George Martin, Beck singlehandedly created a new subtext for rock & roll. With his virtuosity and taste at an all-time peak, Beck let loose with such unforgettable tracks as the Roy Buchanan-inspired "Cause We've Ended as Lovers" and the percolating "Freeway Jam." This is one of rock's great instrumental works.
