Remarkably, this is Cohen’s third album release since last September’s Platinum selling Popular Problems which garnered four 2015 JUNO AWARD nominations and won for the coveted ‘Album of the Year’.
The songs on Can’t Forget have the immediacy, spontaneity, and thrilling intimacy of the best studio recordings made in the white heat of live performance and Cohen's legendary soundchecks, in which he brings the colors of his virtuoso band to full bloom in harmony with his voice, never more seductive. Here is a full range of Leonard Cohen's work: new songs including, from the realm of blues, the wickedly funny "Got a Little Secret" and "Never Gave Nobody Trouble"; luxurious performances of such Cohen masterpieces as "I Can't Forget," "Light As the Breeze," "Night Comes On," and a sublime "Joan of Arc". Cohen also treats us to a gripping version of the Quebecois love song "La Manic," performed before a captivated audience in Quebec City, and a moving tribute cover of the late country master George Jones's "Choices." These are songs and performances of the first order that you can't forget.
Cohen’s live concert tours were met with extraordinary and unanimous accolades as he performed around the world from 2008 through 2013. His mesmerizing performances totaled 470 shows in 31 countries, attended by four million fans. Can’t Forget gives listeners an extremely special glimpse into Cohen’s intimate rehearsal process, widely known to be in-depth ‘concerts before the concert!,’ heard by fans for the first time with this new record. Lara Fabian - Le Secret (2013) High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 24bit/44.1kHz

Belgian-born pop singer/songwriter Lara Fabian began singing, dancing, and taking piano lessons at a very young age and began formal music lessons at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels at age eight. During her ten years of study there, Fabian started writing and performing her own songs, which were inspired as much by her classical vocal and music theory training as they were by Barbra Streisand and Queen. After finishing her studies, Fabian moved to Montreal and began her own label and publishing company, Productions Clandestines. Collaborator/producer Rick Allison, an old friend from Brussels, joined her in Montreal and the pair worked steadily on writing and recording songs. In 1991, Fabian's French-language debut album was released in Canada and sold over 100,000 copies in three years. Her consistent touring in Quebec helped bolster her 1994 album Carpe Diem to similar success, which paved the way for 1997's Pure, a two million-selling album in France that spawned the anti-homophobia anthem "La Difference." The live album Fabian released a year later solidified the international buzz around her and she was signed by Sony Music, which released her self-titled, English-language album in 2000. It was a huge success across the globe, reaching number 1 in the US Heatseeker chart and rocketed to the top of the French charts. A Year later she returned to French language for her fifth album, Nue, which documented her tumultuous time during the overwhelming success of her previous album. In 2004 Fabian released her second English record, A Wonderful Life. The album featured a collection of acoustic-pop songs and included “Review My Kisses” -- a track Fabian originally turned down the track for the album. However, after being impressed by LeAnn Rimes' version, she recorded the song herself. Just a year later, Fabian released 9, which for the first time was not produced by long term collaborator Rick Allison. Instead, Jean-Félix Lalanne took the helm, and brought about a distinct change in Fabian’s pop sound and marked her fifth French studio album. The highly anticipated collaboration with pianist Mark Herskowitz, Toutes Les Femmes En Moi, arrived in 2009 and brought together a collection of songs from an array of artists such as Celine Dion and Edith Piaf. 2010 saw the release of the compilation Best of Laura Fabian, which included the hit single "I Will Love Again" and her duet with Johnny Hallyday "Requiem Pour un Fou." --Artist Biography by Heather Phares

Franz Liszt - Piano Concertos - Alexandre Kantorow, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Jean-Jacques Kantorow (2015) High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 24bit/96kHz

Сomposer: Franz Liszt (1811–86)
Artist: Alexandre Kantorow, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Jean-Jacques Kantorow
Title: Franz Liszt - Piano Concertos
Genre: Classical
Label: © BIS Records AB
Release Date: 2015
Quality: High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 96kHz/24bit
Source: eclassical.com
Duration: 58:02
Recorded: November 2014 at the Tapiola Concert Hall, Finland

As a teenager, Franz Liszt created at least two virtuosic concertos for piano and orchestra, scores which now are lost. The three works gathered here first saw the light of day only a few years later, however, during the 1830's when Liszt’s career as a young, travelling virtuoso was at its height. The two numbered concertos, which Liszt revised extensively before letting them be published some 25 years after their conception, frame the single-movement Malédiction for piano and strings which Liszt composed in 1833 and revised in 1840, but which was never published in his lifetime. Stepping into Liszt's shoes for the present recording is Alexandre Kantorow, another very young man. Born in 1997, Alexandre is here supported by his father Jean-Jacques Kantorow conducting the Tapiola Sinfonietta, a team with a number of highly acclaimed recordings to their credit. The recording is Alexandre’s first for BIS, as well as being his début concerto disc, and represents a remarkable achievement by a hugely promising talent, as well as being a vibrant and exciting account of three impassioned scores.

Kurt Elling - Passion World (2015) High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 24bit/96kHz

Artist: Kurt Elling
Title: Passion World
Genre: Jazz, Vocal Jazz
Label: © Concord Music Group, Inc.
Release Date: 2015
Quality: High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 96kHz/24bit
Source: Qobuz
Duration: 01:04:58
Recorded: November 29, 2012 - December 4, 2012

Both a virtuoso and a journeyman, a traditionalist and a chance taker, singer Kurt Elling has built a career upon defying expectations while also celebrating the standards of the vocal jazz tradition. An adept vocalist with an eloquent set of skills that find him moving easily between literate, kinetic vocalese, swinging standards, and lyrical balladry, Elling draws you deep into each song. With his 11th studio album and fifth for Concord, 2015's Passion World, Elling maximizes this eclectic dynamism with a well-curated series of songs that find him exploring compositions and styles from around the globe. The album finds him working with producers Chris Dunn and Bryan Farina as well as longtime collaborators keyboardist Gary Versace, guitarist John McLean, bassist Clark Sommers, and drummer Kendrick Scott. This touring ensemble has backed Elling worldwide, and clearly shares his enthusiasm for interpreting such stylistically disparate material. Also adding to the album's cornucopia of sounds is a handful of like-minded guests including trumpeter Arturo Sandoval on the elegiac Cuban ballad "Bonita Cuba" and tenor saxophonist Tommy Smith and the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra on the lyrical traditional Celtic number "Loch Tay Boat Song." Similarly, German trumpeter Till Brönner adds his soft, melodic trumpet to Richard Galliano's "Billie," reworked here as "The Tangled Road," and featuring lyrics by Elling. Also engaging is Elling's duet with vocalist Sara Gazarek on Brazilian singer/songwriter Dorival Caymmi's buoyant 1944 bossa nova classic "Você Já Foi à Bahia?" And it's not just his jazz chops on display here. Elling delivers an impeccable orchestral-backed rendition of Johannes Brahms' elegiac "Nicht Wandle, Mein Licht (Liebeslieder Walzer Op. 52, No. 17)," and even reworks U2's anthemic "Where the Streets Have No Name" with an uplifting folk and soul-jazz vibe. Ultimately, that all of Passion World works so beautifully, with each song flowing into the next, is yet another reason why Elling remains one of the premier jazz vocalists in the world. --AllMusic Review by Matt Collar

Kiss - Kiss (1974/2014) High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 24bit/96kHz

Artist: Kiss
Title: Kiss
Genre: Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal
Label: © Casablanca Records | The Island Def Jam Music Group
Release Date: 1974/2014
Quality: High-Fidelity FLAC Stereo 96kHz/24bit
Source: HDTracks
Duration: 35:14
Recorded: October–November 1973; April 1974 ('Kissin' Time') at Bell Sound Studios, New York City

Kiss' penchant for make-up was inspired by their downtown New York neighbors the New York Dolls and by Alice Cooper, who was on top of the glam-rock world when Kiss' self-titled debut came out in 1974. Rather than dress in drag as the Dolls did, Kiss fashioned their look on a mix of sci-fi and horror films, and the rock & roll of their youth. They fashioned their music on willful hard-rock arrogance.
Several songs on KISS became staples in the group's catalog. 'Strutter,' about a beautiful woman with a confident swagger, mirrored the attitude of the band, and it contained the first of many incendiary Ace Frehley solos.
The album also contains 'Cold Gin,' Ace's signature song; 'Deuce,' with its quintessential sexual posturing and fiery soloing; and 'Black Diamond,' Paul Stanley's epic tribute to a streetwalker with a hardscrabble life. Kiss' hunger to succeed resulted in some interesting recording choices, such as transforming teen idol Bobby Rydell's 'Kissin' Time' into a stomper with singalong choruses typical of early-'70s pop. There's even an instrumental, 'Love Theme From Kiss,' a showcase for the quartet's musical synchronicity. It was the beginning of a long and influential career.
